Canadian Forces Nuclear Biological Chemical Decontamination System (CFNBCDS)

This site has been established to provide a communications link between industry and the Canadian Forces Nuclear, Biological and Chemical Decontamination System (CFNBCDS) Project and to provide the most current information available related to the project.  (See Disclaimer)

As part of a strategy to engage industry to the maximum extent possible in developing a solution to filling a Canadian Forces capability gap, the site will provide updates on the status of the project and post project documentation as it evolves. Project documentation appearing on this site will usually be in draft form; however, copies of final versions posted on the Public Works and Government Services MERX web site will be shown when appropriate.

The intent is to provide maximum information, as early as possible, to potential contenders for the supply of a Nuclear, Biological and Chemical (NBC) decontamination system to the Canadian Forces. In some instances, visitors to the site will be invited to comment on various documents, so that the project can benefit from industry advice and input. Every attempt will be made to keep the information on this site current, bearing in mind that much of the information posted is time-sensitive, and subject to change as the project progresses.

Background

This project aims to give the Canadian Forces a thorough CBRN decontamination capability for the next 20-years.
